Winning Mental health transport bid



Client - VCare 24
Background
Having supported VCare24 over a twelve month period with the development of new bid content, Starwood Consulting was asked to lead VCare's bid for a large secure mental health service in the north east.
Our role
Following Starwood's trusted bid methodology, we worked closely with our client to develop a clear, well-crafted bid which presented the organisation well, remaining true to the agreed win themes and structured in a way to maximise the points awarded. Our work included:
- Detailed analysis of the tender documents, enabling the development of our response blueprint
- Meetings with client stakeholders to develop the detailed content for each response
- 3 stages of bid reviews and iterative improvements, designed to extract the maximum marks possible
- Development of numerous reusable graphics and tables, created to bring clarity and simplicity to the response
- Full PMO control and responsibility for ensuring a fully compliant bid was submitted on time
Our impact
We delivered a high quality bid, within a short response window. In the process, we further strengthened VCare's bid content library. The bid was successful and our client has been awarded a five-year contract.
