Client - Falck UK Ambulance Services
Background
Our client had secured a seven-year non-emergency ambulance services contract with Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. The contract required over 130 new ambulance vehicles, 350+ staff, a major TUPE programme and new London site locations.
Our role
We were engaged to lead the mobilisation programme and progressively handover to the operations team. Key elements of our work:
- Oversight of 14 work streams
- Detailed day-to day support and engagement with all work streams
- Management of project planning, risk/issue escalation
- Client stakeholder engagement
- Regular project updates and escalation
- Detailed procurement options analysis
- Contract alignment analysis - to ensure all preparation work was aligned to the contract
- Using our previous experience of large mobilisations to successfully support the project
- Data cutover planning and execution
- System test planning and results analysis - Progressive handover to the substantive operations team
Our Impact
The contract operation was successfully transitioned on the planned go live date, providing high-quality ambulance services to over 2500 patients per day
