Client - E-zec Medical Transport Services
Background
Having been in family ownership since the late 1990s, E-zec medical had recently been acquired by a private equity group. The shift in focus, priorities and approach required a significant change programme to embed new ways of working across the organisation. E-zec's new owners asked Starwood Consulting to lead this business-critical transformation project.
Our role
Across ten business-wide workstreams, Starwood provided the programme leadership, structures and support to ensure the project remained on-track amid the range of day-to-day operational pressures on the organisation. Specifically, we:
- Developed and managed the project plan, governance structures and board reporting regime
- Provided intensive support where appropriate, to ensure the project remained on track, addressing issues quickly
- Used our experience of previous programmes to identify and resolve dependency and capacity constraints
- Ran monthly project boards with the executive team, providing concise updates on issues and exceptional items
- Used our years of experience in the ambulance sector to advise and support at both tactical and strategic levels
- Worked in close collaboration with our client's leadership team throughout
